Recently installed Redeemed church roof is blown off by wind and destroys properties and power poles
The roof of a branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Delta state was blown off by wind and it ended up destroying properties in its path.
The roof of the RCCG branch in Akpoisi road extension opposite Uduaghan park in Delta state was reportedly installed just days earlier, Reports say it was done by an “unskilled engineer” and as such couldn’t stand the test of time.
Photos from the disaster scene show the roof lying on the floor with one side leaning against a building. A fallen electric pole downed by the fallen roof can also be seen in photos.
