EPL: Hazard says he can’t be compared with Messi, reveals two similarities
Chelsea ace, Eden Hazard has revealed that it is impossible to compare him with Barcelona star, Lionel Messi.
The Belgium international, however, revealed two similarities between him and the Argentine captain.
Speaking at a press conference while on international duty, Hazard said he was only similar to Messi in terms of their height and speed.
His words: “There is no way I can be compared to Messi. It’s impossible.”
“Sure, we do have some things in common – we are both short and fast, but that’s about it really – the similarities stop there.”
“He scores in every game, it’s impossible to compare us.”
Meanwhile, Hazard is hoping to play for Chelsea in this weekend’s Premier League clash against Tottenham after returning from the FIFA international break that ended on Wednesday.
Similarly, Messi, who did not play for Argentina against Spain and Italy in the pre-World Cup friendly due to injury, will return to Barcelona as he hopes to play against Sevilla in the La Liga.
