#EndSARS: Singer Simisola shares nasty experience with SARS operatives

The trend on Police brutality and illegal extortion is not ending anytime soon as more and more youths are voicing out their unpleasant experiences from the men of Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad online.

Popular musician Simi has also lend her voice by taking to her twitter page to share a thread on how an officer of the SARS pointed a gun at her and three of her friends just because they were laughing.

She wrote:

People are not supposed to be afraid of the people that are supposed to be looking after us. A couple weeks ago, at almost midnight, my friends and I had a gun pointed at us for laughing. For laughing. #EndSARS #ActuallyTakeGunsAwayFromTriggerHappyPeopleWhoHideBehindTheUniform!


Some youths have also accused the vice President, Prof Yemi Osibajo of not saying anything about the recent outburst, A youth mentioned that his last tweet was about Wizkid and Davido.

However, online personality, social activist and blogger, Mr Japhet Omojuwa disclosed via his account that the office of the vice president has reached out to him about the situation and hopefully there will be a headway soon.

As many are calling for total scrapping of SARS, few youths are clamouring for total reform of the Nigerian Police Force.
